Estimating Tools that Work.
Customizable | Dynamic | Parametric
Tailored to your Business.
SqD Estimate takes your values, your descriptions, and your processes to calculate the cost of a project.
Knowledgebase
Lesson learned are wasted opportunities if you have to learn it again. Take what you know and put it in direct path of where you will need it the most on the next project.
Based in Excel
Sqd Estimate is built for desktop apps, but is also designed to operate in the Excel Web App so you can use it in cloud folders, to work remotely, and collaborate in real time.
Quick and Accurate
SqD Estimate is designed to allow the estimator to get through the estimate quickly without compromising accuracy.
Automated Proposal
The Proposal auto-fills with the estimate information automatically and selectively; chose what you want to show with one click.
Data
Get useable data from your estimate. SqD Estimate tabulates labor and material quantity and costs.
Unit Pricing
You have the option to use pre-set unit prices, or the calculated value - you decide per line.
Adaptable
Use on a general level, or granular level. You chose how detailed you want to be.
Import/Export Capable
You can import information into the workbook, or we can create a custom export of estimate data to go into another program.
Available Project List
Track your estimates; What do you have coming up? Who's doing what? What have you done? Who's giving you work? It's all in the data.
Works on iOS
SqD Estimate is based in Excel, so you can run it on your Mac with Microsoft 365 for Mac, or Excel for Mac. (Some functions may not work, but it is possible to compensate for).
Works on the Cloud
Because SqD Estimate is based in Excel, it can run on the Excel web app, in MS Teams, or Sharepoint. This allows live collaboration with your team in the office, or remotely.
Union or
Non-Union
Labor rates are based on selections that you choose: Union rates or non-union, Reg. time, premium time, or overtime.
Variable Rates for Shop Labor
Shop rates can be automatically adjusted according to difficulty of the task or complexity of an item.
Video Instruction
Unique solutions require unique experience - and training is a big investment in staff and processes.
Onboarding staff can be a lot easier with a library of video content that contains itemized subjects on how to use your system.
People learn best when they are actually working through a process with guided instruction in that moment rather than sitting in a meeting weeks earlier.
